PETITION TO SUPPORT the RÉZO OF DIFFUSION OF the INDEPENDENT CINEMA.

THE REZO: Since 2002, Diffusion Conventum was given for mission of making the film diffusion of cultural and social utility with-through the grid of place of the theatre workshop type which we equip with projectors and which we provide in DVD which comes to us from all the distributors interested in the country.
Without the injection of public funds this work cannot make it possible to affirm its presence by holding account of the responsibilities that we raise. It is thus necessary to recall to the institutions public financing the importance of their support for this private intervention of social utility.

The inaction of certain public structures clash if one accepts the importance which it is necessary to give to all actions which can place screens at the disposal of work of our scenario writers and videographers.

Awaited the objectives of Conventum Diffusion and the RÉZO concerning the diffusion of the independent cinema;
Awaited the importance of the RÉZO like complementary and essential tool for the memory, the diffusion of films and the independent scenario writers.

Us undersigned,

1 Let us endorse the actions and objectives of Conventum Diffusion and Rézo for the independent cinema, particularly its film programming independent in a network of rooms through Quebec as well as the project of retrospective of the independent cinema;

2 Let us ask an urgent collaboration at all the institutions, corporations and individuals so as to support the operation and the work programmes of Rézo for its activities of 2006-2007.
